Understanding the origin of, and processes that sustain, our universe will go a long way towards understanding the impact of sin, forgiveness, truth and morality, etc. Thus, for developing a biblical worldview, one cannot dismiss creation as easily as some are prone to do.
If God exists, then what kind of being is He? Our beliefs and lifestyle are dependent on our understanding of His nature and His level of involvement in our lives.
The first essential question for formulating one’s worldview is, “Does God really exist?”, because the answer establishes a worldview’s foundation.
“Is it our responsibility to prove that God exists?” Now that is a good question! There are a number of possible meanings in that question and thus a number of possible answers. In relation to the discussion on worldviews, I believe the only answer can be, “Yes”.
